Chongqing Development System Dynamic Monitoring of Remote Sensing Wins Excellent Engineering Silver Award

According to the Chongqing Municipal Planning Bureau, on September 13, the China Geographic Information Industry Association announced the publicity list for the 2016 China Geographic Information Industry Excellent Project. The “City of Sky” collaborative monitoring system in Chongqing was established. The project of dynamic monitoring of township changes in remote sensing won the Silver Prize for Outstanding Engineering.

It is understood that the project will be undertaken by the Chongqing Geographic Information Center. At present, it has fully completed the dynamic monitoring of changes in the construction of towns in Chongqing, and established a long-term, efficient dynamic monitoring mechanism and technical system. The project uses UAV technology to achieve global coverage of the image, through independent research and development of UAV supplement satellites, aerial image vacancies. At the same time, through the space-time information survey, the intelligent mobile system conducts field investigations on the characteristics of map spots and the adjustment and verification of border industries.

In addition, the project uses human-computer interaction to extract semi-automatic remote sensing information, solves a number of technical problems such as massive data processing and multi-source image parallel processing, and realizes the scale and industrial application of remote sensing and mapping geographic information technology.

Prior to this, Chongqing also conducted several researches on remote sensing monitoring technology for UAVs. In March 2012, the remote sensing monitoring project of the geological disaster unmanned aerial vehicle undertaken by the Chongqing Municipal Bureau of Land Resources and Housing Survey and Planning determined acceptance. The research and development of this project solved the problem of large-scale aerial photography in urban construction areas under the conditions of hilly terrain, and provided important reference and reference value for the prevention and control of geological disasters in aerial photography.

The dynamic remote sensing monitoring project based on the coordinated monitoring of the “Sky Land” in Chongqing has been widely used in Chongqing municipality-related enterprises and institutions, and has been popularized and applied in garden landscapes and other departmental units as well as districts and counties.
