Chile uses environmental protection system to ensure sustainable development

In order to encourage companies to carry out cleaner production, the National Cleaner Production Committee under the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Chile also actively promotes companies to sign cleaner production agreements. At present, various types of companies that have signed this agreement have shown an increasing trend year by year. The GDP of these enterprises in 2005 accounted for 10.7% of the Chilean GNP.
