The 8-3 dry desulfurization plant at the central station was officially completed and put into production in April 2005. There are 6 sub-towers, and each of the three sub-towers is a group, forming alternating groups of T1 and T2 groups. The device is designed and manufactured by China itself and is currently the largest dry desulfurization device in China.

With the high concentration of natural gas hydrogen sulfide produced by crude oil, the maximum concentration of hydrogen sulfide in a single well reaches 150,000 ppm. Responsible for processing this high-hydrogen sulfide natural gas 8-3 central station dry desulphurization unit, implemented “dynamic cycle monitoring technology” during the replacement and use of the T1 and T2 groups of desulfurizers to achieve a sulfur capacity of the desulfurizer. The largest, average daily natural gas processing is over 60,000 cubic meters, and the qualified dry gas hydrogen sulfide concentration after treatment is between 0 and 20 ppm, which realizes the rational development and recycling of oil and gas resources, and at the same time ensures ecological balance and safety in production engineering.
