Screw pump rod drive seal system

Rod-driven screw pump sealing system is a cost-effective artificial lift method for producing sand, gas or heavy oil wells.
The rod-driven screw pump is operated by a drive rod driven by a ground motor (a motor driven drive head and a sucker rod in the well). The new system must seal the bottom of the drive head of the screw pump shaft to control the well fluid. The Baker Hughes USA Center has developed two effective sealing methods for the Lifteq drive head series: Rotary Seals and Injection Seals.
Rotary Seal Lift Center provides turn-proof seal components that help prevent leaks and help monitor the operation of rod-driven screw pumps. The new seal is specially developed for environmentally sensitive areas. Check if the seal is effective by the field technical cycle of redundant and leaked holes.
Once the sealing member is worn, a fluid flow opens out of the leak hole as soon as it is opened. At this time, the operator can apply the last redundant seal until the scheduled pump check cycle, or lock the rotating seal and seal with a common seal until the next pump check. The application of a new sealing system to avoid the planned inspection pump, reducing operating costs.
Injection Seals Injection-type sealing parts can be inserted when the sealing line is collapsed and the drive head is still running during operation. To fill the crushed sealing cord, a semi-fluid seal can be inserted into the hole using a pressure gun. The new system shortens the pump-off time, lengthens the pump cycle and reduces the impact on the environment.
