Large-scale delayed coking device automatic cover machine technology passed expert appraisal

On November 13, Sinopec’s “Automatic bottom/top cap machine technology for large-scale delayed coking units” passed expert technical appraisal. This technology has been installed in Jingmen Petrochemical Coking Plant since March 2008. The continuous operation for 8 months shows that the technical equipment runs smoothly, is safe and reliable, and is clean and environmentally friendly, which greatly reduces the labor intensity and safety risk of operators, and effectively shortens production. Cycles, improve coke drum production capacity, have good social and economic benefits. The expert appraisal opinion believes that the overall technology of the coke drum bottom/top cap machine has reached the advanced level of similar international products, fills the domestic gap, has the right to operate freely, can replace imports, and is recommended for promotion.
In August 2006, Luoyang Petrochemical Engineering Company, Jingmen Petrochemical, and Jingmen Refinery Machinery Co., Ltd. signed a research and development contract for the “large-scale delayed coking unit automatic bottom/top cap machine technology” contract with the headquarters and jointly developed. After one and a half years of design, development and factory acceptance, it was put into industrial application at Jingmen Petrochemical Coking Plant on March 29, 2008. The cock tower automatic bottom/top cover machine developed by Tripartite has developed a dual-seal technology for floating seats. It integrates and optimizes the technology of nitriding hardening, steam-assisted sealing and safe chain control of the valve plate and valve seat surface. The equipment design is scientific and reasonable and the structure is novel.
It is understood that the overall technology of coke drum automatic bottom/top cap machine has been successfully developed and trial-produced, not only creating a number of world firsts, but also of great importance to improving the overall level of coking technology in China and improving coking safety, environmental protection and clean production technologies. The refinery of the route has laid a solid foundation for improving coking capacity and effectiveness.
