Reporter: Some lay people believe that the mold industry does not generate much tax directly. The government should not devote too much energy to this, but should concentrate on the development of a tax-generating hardware product industry. How do you think about the mold industry?

Jiang Yonggen: Mold is the “mother of industry” and it embodies a local level of industrial manufacturing and product quality. The first mold, followed by the product, mold level does not go, will directly restrict the development of the product industry. Therefore, as government departments should increase support for the mold industry. In addition, it is itself an industry that can be directly sold and exported as a product.

Reporter: What measures will the municipal government take to support the development of the mold industry?

Jiang Yonggen: We will adopt four measures to promote the development of the mold industry. The China (Yongkang) Hardware Equipment and Mould Exhibition held once a year will continue to be held in the economic development zone where industrial enterprises are concentrated. The scale and grade of the exhibition next year will exceed this year and more than 600 booths will be exhibited. Through the platform of the exhibition, we will strengthen exchanges and learning between mold enterprises in the city and foreign mold enterprises, strengthen exchanges and cooperation between mold companies and product companies, and accelerate the development of mold industry in our city.

By the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, Vocational Technology School, Wang Li Group and other units to jointly create a "hardware mold entrepreneurial service platform", the establishment of high-end mold R & D center, enhance the level of mold manufacturing in our city.

Specialized in the introduction of technical reform subsidy policies to encourage enterprises to invest in high-end equipment. The city’s original taxation policy for technical reforms is required to be over 300,000 yuan. The threshold is too high for the mold industry. The new support policy should lower the threshold, and the specific scheme is set by the Municipal Economic and Trade Bureau.
