When the smoke concentration reaches the set alarm threshold, an alarm sound and light indication are issued to remind people to quickly escape or extinguish fire. According to relevant data, 62% of home fire deaths are due to the fact that no stand-alone smoke detection alarms or fire detection alarms have not been installed; households that have installed smoke detection alarms have been involved in the fire. At that time, the chance of escape was 63% higher than that of households that had not been installed or installed without effective work.
