Recently, the 2014 International Engine Industry Development Summit Forum was held. This forum was jointly sponsored by the "China Automotive Economy" magazine and other units. At the forum, the reporter was informed that in 2013, China's engine industry is expected to exceed 1.7 billion kilowatts.

Liu Lixun, editor-in-chief of Time Automotive magazine, said at the meeting that China's engine industry increased from 1.3 billion kilowatts to more than 1.5 billion kilowatts in 2012, and is expected to exceed 1.7 billion kilowatts in 2013. However, the whole market is big but not strong, and the crux of independent innovation is still in existence. It is imperative to promote the improvement of China's steam and diesel engine technology.
