Analysis of the Application of Interferometer in Error Measurement
The development of modern machine tools makes the maximum speed of the spindle higher and higher. To deeply study the thermal error of the spindle, it is necessary to find a way to measure the thermal deformation of the spindle in real time, and at the same time require the data acquisition system to have a higher sampling speed. A real-time measurement method for spindle thermal error based on three-way single-beam interferometer is proposed. Measuring principle: SBI3 (Single-Beam Interferome-terswith-3Channel) consists of three single-beam interferometers sharing a single laser head. Each interferometer consists of a polarization beam splitter PBS and a reference mirror r (corner prism), two The K/4 wave plate and the analyzer and receiver, the cat's eye is the common target of the three-way interferometer. An FPGA data acquisition card can be used to count three receiver signals and reference channel signals simultaneously. Since the center of the cat's eye is not completely centered, the center of the cat's eye is rounded around the axis of the spindle when the spindle rotates. Therefore, if the spindle speed is n, during the data recording process, the spindle rotates 60*5000/n every revolution. Subsampling, these sample points form a sinusoid. Each recording process includes n/100 such sinusoidal periods. The thermal drift of the main shaft is mainly along the Z-axis direction, up to 50 lm, and the thermal drift in the other two directions is relatively small; the temperature at the main shaft bushing rises faster in the first 20 min after starting, and then tends to be gentle, and the corresponding main axis is at X. The deformation in the Y and Z directions is consistent with the temperature rise of the spindle bushing, which indicates that this measurement method is successful for measuring thermal error.
