1. Correct selection of instruments and meters

1) In the chemical industry, there are many kinds of media, such as steam, gas, water, hydrogen and other media. The span of the diameter of the pipe is also generally between DN15 and DN300. The physical properties of the medium (such as pressure and density) , temperature, etc.) and chemical properties (such as: corrosive) are also very different, so the priority of the selection of the previous vortex flowmeter, can not be sloppy.

2) In the selection process, two basic principles must be grasped:

One must consider the safety of production, that is, whether the instrument is required to have an explosion-proof function;

Second, we must ensure that the accuracy of the instrument meets the requirements for use;

3), then also need to determine three necessary selection parameters:

First, the upper and lower limits of the flow rate during the production process;

The second is to determine the pressure of the measured medium;

The third is to determine the size of the pipe diameter.

2, the installation of vortex flowmeter

After purchasing the vortex flowmeter, the next step is to install it. The scientific selection of the flowmeter installation point and the correct installation of the sensor are very important links. If these two are not done well, the measurement accuracy will be affected. Affecting the service life or damage to the meter, so we have summarized the following:

1), to avoid pipe vibration, can not avoid the need to add triangular bracket reinforcement;

2) Avoid high temperature installation environment;

3), avoid electromagnetic interference, can not avoid the need for shielding treatment;

5) Ensure that the measured medium is a clean single-phase fluid.

3. Post-management of vortex flowmeter

In order to avoid the accuracy of the long-term work of the vortex flowmeter, it is necessary to do a good job in the later management.

1) Regularly copy data to avoid data loss during accidental outages (our factory vortex flowmeter has power failure data protection function, but copying data work is still essential)

2) Adjusting the meter according to the cycle is generally adjusted once in one to two years;

3) Regularly check whether the various factors of the instrument are normal.

4. Regular maintenance inside the pipeline

Due to the contamination of the chemical medium, the sensor probe of the vortex flowmeter should be cleaned regularly to avoid receiving the signal due to contamination.
