In order to fulfill a joke two years ago, four men in Wutongqiao District of Leshan City decided to drift along Yijiang River to Yibin. On August 6th, after entering the river from the Tuojiang River in Wutongqiao District, two people persisted in drifting to Yibin City. It lasted two days and the entire journey was about 160 kilometers. Netizens praised them as “real men”.

On the morning of August 6, Leshan thundered and thundered. 58-year-old Song Wenqing is the president of Wutongqiao District Winter Swimming Association and is the captain of this drifting event. In the same day, he was accompanied by Yuan Xiaogang, a 50-year-old school bus driver, Lei Min, a 38-year-old computer teacher, and Xu Yong, a 36-year-old elementary school language teacher. Each of them wore a float on their waists and carried a waterproof bag. The bag contained water and food. Soon after they started, Lao Song and Xu Yong, who usually exercised more often, advanced all the way. Lei Min and Yuan Xiaogang followed suit.

"Although it was midsummer, but the river was a little cold. After an hour of swimming, I felt some numbness in my hands and feet." Lao Song brought a bottle of wine with him, and when he was very cold he drank two in the water. When they arrived at Shazui Pier in Mawei County, some people on the shore shouted their names. It turned out that their old friend was chasing after the rain from the Wutongqiao District on a bicycle, and they should be photographed along the way.

At about 11 o'clock in the morning, four people went ashore at the dock outside of China. Yuan Xiaogang withdrew from this raft because of something temporary. All the way along the Lancang River passes through Xidu Town and Xiaogu Town of Qiwei County. At 15:40, 3 people took a break in Xinmin Town and took a rest.

At 8 o'clock in the morning on August 7, three people jumped into the water again. Because of leg pain, Lei Min left behind frequently. After drifting into Fern Creek Town, Lei Min decided to go ashore. “I usually do less exercise and my legs are too painful. I don’t want to drag their hind legs.” In this way, the four men’s feats turned into a knockout game. Only 2 people are left.

At 11:40 in the morning, a city emerged suddenly in the eyes of the two people. They looked forward to brand-new real estate and were full of heated construction sites. When he came ashore, he learned that the entire county was relocated over Pingshan County.

After eating lunch at Ping Shan, the two men re-entered the water at 13:25. At 15:40, the two landed on the shore near Yibin Minjiang Bridge. At this point, the 160-kilometer-long drifting Yibin trip was finally over. According to rough statistics, the time for the two people to drift in the water was 10 hours and 50 minutes, and the average speed was about 15 kilometers.

Talking about the original intention of this rafting, Lao Song said that this was due to a joke two years ago. In 2010, when they were drifting, they shouted to the people along the way: “The next time you go to Yibin!” Then everyone has a Rafting Yibin's dream.
