The Self Drilling Anchor system is comprised of a hollow threaded anchor bar with a sacrificial drill bit that performs drilling, anchoring and grouting in a single operation. 4. The hollow core not only serves for flushing during drilling, but also for grouting after drilling.
5. Continuous threads ensure the bars can be cut and coupled at any point, or extended.

“China's 1780mm large-scale wide-band steel cold-rolling production line technology and equipment technology domestic independent integration and innovation†project is the key technological transformation project of Anshan Iron and Steel Group “10th Five-Year Planâ€, from Anshan Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd., China First Heavy Machinery Group Co., Ltd., China Metallurgical Engineering Co., Ltd. The joint completion is the first large-scale cold-rolled wide-bar steel production line that China has relied on its own technical strength to independently develop, develop and integrate. The project is independently integrated by Anshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., and all the required equipments are based on a la carte method. Based on domestic resources, the total investment is nearly one-third less than that of similar cold rolling mills in China. The technology has a high starting point and excellent equipment. Through independent research and development and innovation, the Angang 1780mm cold rolling production line has reached or exceeded the international advanced level after being put into production, such as plate type, thickness, surface quality, finished product rate, energy consumption and labor productivity. The completion and commissioning of this production line indicates that China has mastered the two core technologies of cold rolling complete equipment manufacturing technology and process production control, and made outstanding contributions to the localization of China's metallurgical major equipment.
In 2005, the “Inner Steel 1780mm Large-scale Broadband Steel Cold Rolling Production Line Process Equipment Technology Domestic Independent Integration and Innovation†project was awarded the National Metallurgical Science and Technology Special Award by China Iron and Steel Association and China Metal Society.
The 2006 National Science and Technology Progress Award passed 624 entries for the initial evaluation of the project, of which 326 were shortlisted, and 19 projects (including military and civilian) were awarded the first prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award.
