Actual product reliability of most actuators is 1-2 orders of magnitude lower than in foreign countries.

The reliability index MTBF of most products is within the range of 2000 to 3,000 hours, which is less than half that of similar foreign products. The instrumentation industry presents features such as less application of new technologies, lower level of intelligence, fewer types of application software, and incomplete accessories.

The China Instrument and Meter Industry Association recently released the 12th Five-Year Development Plan for Instruments and Meter Industry.
