Characteristics of the wall-filling mining method

The wall filling method is a dry filling method for mining extremely thin veins. In the process of mining, the ore and surrounding rock are respectively collapsed, and the ore is collected and discharged through the well. The collapsed waste stone remains in the goaf for filling, supporting the surrounding rock, and serves as a recovery workbench.
When the ultra-thin veins are mined by the method of retaining ore, the mixed rate of waste rock is sometimes as high as 60-80%. However, with the wall-filling method, the mixed rate of waste rock can usually be controlled below 20-25%. Because of mixed waste reduction rate, thereby reducing the use of ore transport, lifting and mineral processing costs, but also reduces the amount of gold with the case of the loss of tailings. The wall-cutting method is conducive to maximizing the recovery of mineral resources and improving the economic benefits of mining.
